After signing up for the service, you will receive a fax number that you can give out to anyone. You can choose a 1-800 number so there are no toll charges to your customers / clients.
When someone sends you a fax, our service receives the call and directs it into a digital document (Adobe Acrobat format PDF file) which is then emailed to you instantly.
You pay one monthly fee, which covers all the costs including the toll rates, phone number, and all email charges, etc. You DO NOT require a phone line, or a fax machine, only Internet service of some sort to check your email for the received faxes.
The service is 100% compatible with traditional fax machines, so your customers / clients do not know the difference. You will however, as you eliminate the need for a fax machine, paper costs, telephone line, etc.
You can also send out fax documents by emailing the Internet fax address and including the phone number for the fax destination in the subject of the email, our computers handle the rest.
