The Virtuamonde malware/virus is a very common spyware infection that we have seen all to much on customer computers. We have found that most if not all virus protection software does not properly find, or remove the Virtumonde infection.
In most cases we have found to repair the machine, we have to do a full software rebuild on the system, meaning we completely backup the data on the machine by removing the hard drive from the system. We then format the hard drive and reinstall the operating system back on the computer.
After transferring all the data back on to the computer, we then reinstall all the software back onto the computer.
